On Tuesday’s episode of The View, the ladies were talking about Daniel Penny. They were talking about his not-guilty verdict and how, in their eyes, he’s still guilty. Whoopi then comments on Daniel Penny drinking a beer at a bar with his family after his win. She tries to scold him, on air, that he killed a man and now he’s drinking a beer to celebrate, and how this shows he has no remorse.
Whoopi probably forgot that this incident was almost two years ago. Daniel had plenty of time to grieve and the constant death threats on him and his family weren’t easy either. Her going on air and assuming that he’s a cold-blooded killer, makes it even worse. Whoopi needs to focus on the aggressor, Jordan Neely, who was saying he was going to kill people.
