META, which is owned by Mark Zuckerberg, just donated 1 million dollars to Trump’s inauguration fund. This comes after a private meeting with Trump at his Mar-A-Lago home. Soon after, Jeff Bozos, the owner of Amazon, also donated the same million. This comes as a surprise since both men were very anti-Trump during his first term.
Jeff Bezos said he’s optimistic about Trump’s second term and even offered to stream his inauguration on Amazon Prime Video, which is separate from the original million donation and also worth about a million dollars. If you remember, Trump criticized The Washington Post’s political coverage of his Presidency, which is also owned by Jeff Bezos. For a little while, Mark Zuckerberg even banned Trump from Facebook, but later restored his account. Trump hasn’t really used Facebook since.
