Its been a week since Kamala Harris horribly lost to Donald Trump. He not only beat her with 100 more electoral votes, but also more popular votes, and helped Republicans secure both the house and senate. Apparently Kamala is trying to get a recount done, or at least try.
A portion of donations made to the Harris Victory Fund, which is a joint committee authorized by the Harris Campaign and other Democratic committees, have set up a fundraising page for a potential recount.
The fundraising page says that the “first $41,300/$15,000 from a person/multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to the DNC. The next $3,300/$5,000 from a person/PAC will be allocated to Harris for President’s Recount Account”. It doesn’t say when the re count will be done, but with all the debt the Kamilla Harris’s campaign is currently in, this seems impossible.
Kamala’s campaign spent a ton of money in the last few weeks of the election. So much that she is in $20 million debt. Donald Trump offered to pay her debt but her campaign hasn’t responded.
