Disney+ is ready to give us some early 2000s nostalgia with the reboot of FOX’s hit show “Malcolm In The Middle”. The reboot is only a 4 episode series that will show how the family is doing now. So far the only people on the cast for the reboot are Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek with more to be announced. There hasn’t been a date set, but Disney did say the plot of this series will center around Hal and Lois’s 40th wedding Anniversary, demanding their kids to attend, and the chaos that’ll bring.
Malcolm in the Middle ran for seven seasons from 2000 to 2006. It was one of FOX’s top shows with its first few seasons averaging 15 million viewers. The last two seasons ended with around 5 to 8 million viewers. Sources close to Disney said if these four episodes do well, they might add more episodes to complete a whole season and make it an official reboot.
