Wicked is doing great at the box office. The first week numbers are almost $200 million domestically. But fans have noticed something very bizarre and weird about the press run for the movie.
In almost every press interview, shows Ariana and Cynthia being overly emotional and sad. It doesn’t matter the question that their asked, their answers always involves them behaving over the top. Cynthia, in one interview, saw her breaking down over wearing the make up and how it made her feel. Another instance shows Ariana getting emotional because her middle name shows in the movie credits. But in all instances, Ariana is holding Cynthia extra hard every time. They also went as far as describing the movie as being a queer movie, which many have speculated that they might be in a relationship.
Many people online have commented that their press interviews are more like an emotional support group rather than advertising for the actual movie. Some are concerned that their always crying because their tired and need some rest. Others have already used ther odd behavior as a reason to already not watch the movie.
