ABC and its network’s top star, George Stephanopoulos, were forced to apologize to Donald Trump and pay $15 million as a charitable contribution to a Trump presidential foundation and museum. This comes after Trump sued the network after Stephanopoulos asserted on air, numerous times, that Trump was liable for rape, during one of his broadcasts. Trump sued because he was never found guilty of rape, and was only liable for sexual abuse. But ABC and George state “Rape” numerous times on air. With the $15 million, ABC will also pay a million in Trumps legal fees.
