America’s newest hate group, Black Lives Matter (BLM), has called for riots and violence in the streets after the not-guilty verdict of Daniel Penny, who saved a bunch of riders from an aggressive drug addict on a New York Subway. After the not-guilty verdict, BLM members were outside the courthouse protesting and the co-founders gave a very hateful and racist speech calling for violence and riots across American cities. With the protests, police did make some arrests after things got out of hand. So far there hasnt been any riots in the streets but if there was BLM founders might go to jail.

Inciting violence is illegal under federal law and in many states. Federal law 18 U.S. Code Section 2101 makes it a crime to incite a riot, either by organizing/promoting or encouraging others to do so. If there was any violence in the streets after this verdict, prosecutors could go after BLM members and use the footage of speech that they gave outside the courthouse.
