T-Mobile is the nation’s second-largest wireless network, behind Verizon. They just announced that the FCC gave the green light to let T-Mobile work with Elon Musk’s Starlink internet satellite service. What this means, is that T-Mobile will never, ever, have a dead zone and have 100% coverage anywhere. You’ll also be able to use your phone restriction-free even in the ocean, such as on a cruise or if you ever get stranded at sea.

Starlink is a satellite telecommunication service that’s owned by Elon Musk. It uses satellites in space to cover all areas of Earth. It’s currently being used in the Ukraine and Russia war. It was also used during Hurricane Milton and Helene’s relief efforts, earlier this year. What this means for T-Mobile, is when there is a natural disaster such as a Hurricane, where the cell towers are damaged and won’t work, Starlink will kick in and you’ll continue to have service with no extra fee. Naturally Starlink will be included in your T-Mobile plan.
